FingerPrint™ Cars of Outstanding Preservation (1981 & Older) The level of preservation (originality and condition) remains good-outstanding in all four areas (exterior, interior, under hood and chassis). Identifying "finger prints" have not been lost to either restoration or deterioration.
	•	FingerPrint™ Standards require cars at least 30 years old with all four target sections qualified in order to be eligible for FingerPrint awards.
	•	FingerPrint™ Standards may range from good to outstanding preservation. However, total refinishing, replacement, damage and deterioration within any one of the four areas must not exceed 25% from factory new.
	•	The panel will decide if the cars (with four targets) meet the FingerPrint Standards.
	•	The panel will consist of three certified examiners.
	•	The panel will be limited to a maximum 20 minute inspection per car.
	•	The panel will decide: a. conclusive positive or b. inconclusive for each section
	•	The panel will be conclusive by unanimous consent or it will remain inconclusive.
	•	The panel will not declare a "conclusive negative" on any section.
	•	There will be no limit on awards presented; likewise there may be none presented.
	•	Owners may return with more conclusive documentation for future awards.
